AP: Associated Press to shrink staff by 10 per cent in next year

The AP reports on itself: the Associated Press will cut its workforce by 10 per cent over the next year, the chief executive has said. The decision is in light of a ‘declining economy’ and cut in fees paid by member newspapers, AP reports.
