RebelMouse launched earlier this year as platform that allows you curate content shared on social media.

Soon after the launch of RebelMouse, Journalism.co.uk wrote about how news outlets, including Reuters, NBC and the Huffington Post, were among some of the first to set up “social front pages”.

Jeff Sonderman has this week published a post on Poynter, suggesting five ways RebelMouse can be used by journalists.

He presents his points and notes RebelMouse’s “distinguishing capabilities”:

  • It can bring multiple social networks together in one space.
  • It can make all that work you put into social networking accessible to people who don’t use those networks.
  • It can be as automated as you want or as manually curated.
