Washington Times: Times launches cit-j news pages

The Washington Times begins its new citizen journalism news project today: a full print page in each daily edition of ’stories written and reported by average citizens in local communities’.

The daily pages will features news from six communities, focusing on a different topic each day.

Former Times journalists will be heavily involved in overseeing the contributions.
