I wanted to create an independent portal introducing people to a career in journalism, as well as catering for trainees and students. My big hope is that forums take off, so that people can give feedback on their experiences on courses and work experience, helping those that come after them and maybe improving things for everyone - including raising standards within the industry. It&#039;s a big hope, and it relies on people taking time out to contribute in a meaningful way. And that will only happen if you spread the word. So thanks for your help. Ed Oldfield</description>
