Sometimes I think that journalists and presenters think that they are there purely to tell 'the story.'

Jon Snow regularly blogs about the changing world of journalism and who better indeed to reflect on the evolution of his type of communication.

With the embarkation of interaction in the form of blogs and tweets, it is inevitable that the nature of journalism will be upturned. Extra ethical responsibiity is needed if superinquisitiveness is to be employed.

I come from a world where I have to mop up every ounce of blood spilt and hold the hands of those dying, but not in overseas war zones , but here in the UK.. Content may be king , but surely the queen of coverage is ensuring that respect is shown for those peoples lives they are entering into and an insight into the effects interaction has with the readers .

Journalism is now not purely voyeurisitc, not just story telling and should be purposed with sensitivity to the millions who are going to soak in the stories .
