There's been a solution for this for the past 6 years.

At CTJT, we have been running newspaper, magazine and broadcast journalism courses leading to the full NCTJ qualification - for £55 a month ... or £27.50 a month for people who are unemployed or on benefits.

During that time our NCTJ exam results have been as good as, or better than, most NCTJ colleges, and we have seen our graduates get jobs on newspapers, magazines, news websites and radsio and TV stations. these include Sky, Hull Daily Mail, BBC and many others.

The NCTJ's loyalty to their accredited colleges means they won't promote our courses - and as a result, deprive many people from working class backgrounds of careers in journalism.

We've been thrilled to help out the less well off - and still do - we give away around £10,000 a scholarshiops a year, as well. See www.ctjt.biz
