I wonder when journalism will realise it&#039;s not the stories. 

The emphasis on stories is one of the reasons traditional journalism is committing suicide. It starts at journalism school, where writers are told repeatedly that narrative is the most important thing going.

The belief that it&#039;s the stories is a corrupting belief. It causes writers to distort the truth.

If I want stories, I can buy a novel.</description>
