Haven't seen much but just checked Mail. Beckett appeared "shocked"!?! Her face hardly moved. I know, I was attempting screengrabs of her and there was barely a flicker.

Be interesting to see the iplayer figures ...

Can't talk for all media reports, but some of the ones I've seen made me wonder if they'd watched the same bits as me.

Well, IMO, if they just followed the Twitter hash tag feed - yes.

However it was sole subject on Five Live this AM apparently and everyone was saying it was an angry near-riot.

I honestly saw a lot of very English politeness though, my impression - no deference, mind!

You mean Twitter exaggerated it? And are subsequent media reports guilty of the same thing?

I actually got a very different impression of it from Twitter from what I saw when I watched it (added as postscript)

Wasn't exactly 'Taiwan parliament'!

Thanks Paul for that - I noticed the tweets while watching but didn't join in as was with a mocking non-Tweeter who looked on with horror as I started to form my first tweet. Shame, because the #bbcqt discussion was incredibly active: 3000, wow.
