		<description>They say that &#039;content is king&#039; and &#039;distribution is king kong&#039;.  Google now dominate access to free content on the web but it is the Newspapers who have placed their most prized asset (content) up there on the web for free. Newspapers like the Wall Street Journal and the Australian Financial Review are showing that people will pay online subscriptions for news, analysis and tools of value.  In fact, the only thing stopping newspapers from going vertical with their business models is themselves.  Fairfax&#039;s purchase of Trade Me in New Zealand takes the company beyond the classified and into the transaction as the exchange and broker - that should be a warning to eBay and Amazon!</description>
