		<description>Agree.  I have heard a couple of the evidence sessions so far, and every time feel a strong urge to tear out my own hair.  The committee members are not taking it seriously enough - either through incompetence or unwillingness.

I have two specific complaints. Firstly, as you say, there is little interest in what is happening in the media *now*.  Second, those giving evidence receive a much too easy ride.

Wade in particular was allowed to duck questions and fob them off with poor attempts at humour.  It was clear she felt able to easily handle the questioning. For example, when asked if she disagreed with Murdoch over editorial content, she diverted them with jokes about falling out over her love for reality TV.

Utter dross. The committee need to brush up, and get tough.</description>
